Are all Russian dating sites a scam? Probably not, but many clearly are and you need to be careful. Of course on the internet you never know who you are really dealing with, how big and reliable the business is or even if they are actually even in Russia or the Ukraine where they make out they are. Ukraine brides seem to be more popular than Russian brides these days but you are not just limited to those countries either with many others now offered.
You need to do your research. Try googling the site-name, a space, and the word spam and see what comes up. There are YouTube videos of people warning of the scams and of course many advertising the fact that they are not. Just as with any business out there there will always be someone that even the best businesses have upset when 99 per cent of their customers are happy so don’t be put off if you find a few bad stories right away. Seeing pages of bad experiences and warnings though should start to ring a few alarm bells.
Use you common sense. Things are going to have to be pretty bad in her country for a young 26 year old gorgeous blonde with a perfect figure to really be interested in a 50 year old overweight balding man factory worker living in a small bedsit in England. Think about it. Sure things are tough in their country but a young beautiful woman is still in demand there and do can pretty well for herself and even find herself a Russian millionaire- there are plenty of those there.
Men don’t think with their brains when a pretty woman is concerned. Step back and look at things through a fresh pair of eyes. Is she asking you for money already? Has she fallen in love with you after just a few letters? Does she sound too good to be true?
If you take a tour and meet these women then they must be for real right? No. These events where foreigners pay for a romance tour and get to meet dozens of beautiful woman half their age are often setup. Some of these women are happy in their present relationship but get free food and drink and a night out and may even be paid a little for attending and making up the numbers. Some will even be prostitutes. Many are experienced scammers who do this sort of thing often for all the different dating organisations out there. They see foreigners as easy targets and assume they have money. Once again you have to ask yourself why else would such a beautiful and much younger woman really be interested in you if not for the possibility of money or perhaps the possibility of a green card.
Sure there are some genuine girls out there and you will read some testimonials of happy couples. Remember testimonials are easy to fake. You only have to take a quick look on fiverr to see how someone will say anything you want on video for just five dollars so imagine what you can do with just a few more dollars in your advertising budget.
Many of these sites are not a find a bride site, a mail-order bride site or a dating site but purely a money making machine for their owners designed to suck all the money they can out of gullible foreigners. Just take a look at some of the stories of men who have lost their life savings, their house, their inheritance and sometimes even their life to these scammers. Be careful out there guys and think with your brain not your you know what.
